Homecoming, the children's book is a book that celebrates the culture of attending an HBCU Homecoming. When I began teaching high school students, they would ask me what college I attended. I soon learned that many of the students that I would come to teach weren't aware of what an HBCU was. I decided to write a book that would introduce HBCU culture to children at any age.
